Gujarat CM approves Rs. 483.71 crore for public projects in Gandhinagar, Surat, and Vadodara

Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today gave in-principle approval to allocate a total of Rs. 483.71 crore for 424 different development works in three metro cities—Gandhinagar, Surat, and Vadodara. The CM allocated these funds from the Swarnim Jayanti Chief Minister Urban Development Scheme initiated in 2010 by then CM of Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Accordingly, the Chief Minister has given in-principle approval for the allocation of Rs 20.74 crore to the Gandhinagar Urban Development Authority (GUDA) for road works from Bhaijipura to Signature Bridge leading to Various higher education institutions are functioning along the bay of this main road connecting Gandhinagar-Koba highway with Gift City. In addition to the work in progress to develop this area as a knowledge hub, considering the future availability of metro rail, Rs 20.74 crore has been allocated as a special case from the Swarnim Jayanti Chief Minister Urban Development Scheme for the purpose of development and beautification of this road.
